GQZ-JZ Series Vibration-Damping Spherical Bearings
This series of bearings uses elastic vibration-damping elements. When the horizontal force reaches a certain level, the damping springs begin to deform elastically, providing a buffering effect. When structural rotation occurs, the spherical core rotates to release the torque generated by the upper structure. During an earthquake, both rigid seismic measures and flexible damping measures work simultaneously to resist the enormous seismic energy input. This ensures reasonable relative displacement between the upper and lower structures of the bridge, reduces the amplification coefficient of seismic forces, and maintains structural integrity. This bearing can withstand earthquakes of magnitude 8-11, providing excellent seismic and vibration-damping effects for engineering structures in high-intensity seismic zones, especially in areas prone to direct-type earthquakes.
