Lead core support
1. Product Introduction
The lead core rubber bearing consists of upper and lower connecting plates, upper and lower sealing plates, a lead core, and a rubber matrix. The rubber matrix uses a vulcanized combination structure of rubber and an intermediate steel plate, which is consistent with the structure of general rubber plate bearings, with the lead core evenly distributed in the middle of the bearing. The connecting plate is used to connect with the beam and pier.
2. Bearing Characteristics
The lead core rubber bearing adds a lead core to the ordinary plate rubber bearing, which bears vertical and horizontal loads, causing the lead core to produce hysteretic damping plastic deformation. The rubber enhances the recovery force, giving the bearing a good damping effect, achieving shock absorption and isolation. It has advantages such as a simple structure and low maintenance management costs.
3. Bearing Application Technology
The lead core rubber bearing strictly follows the national standard GB/T20688-2007 "Bridge Isolation Rubber Bearings" of the People's Republic of China and related industry specifications, while also referring to the requirements for lead core rubber bearings in the European standard EN15129-2009 "Isolation Devices" and the development of a series of shock isolation bridge components. Its design parameters and structural forms have been further optimized, and the comprehensive performance of the product has been further improved. The application of lead core rubber bearings has promoted the advancement of bridge technology in China, and it has now become a major type of bearing for highway bridges in the country.
